
The Phillip A. Cox Balanced Man Scholarship recognizes the achievements of incoming male freshmen to Indiana University who consistently demonstrated excellence in academics, athletics, and community service during their high school years. Interested individuals must complete and submit an application by April 1, 2010. Finalists will be interviewed by brothers of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity of Indiana University. Recipients will receive $500 toward their college expenses.
This scholarship remains dedicated to a prominent, Sigma Phi Epsilon alumnus, Phillip A. Cox. Since graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Finance in 1984, Phil has had a very successful career. He currently serves as the Director of Managed Accounts and Alternative Investments for Charles Schwab Institutional. In terms of Sigma Phil Epsilon, Phil has had a positive impact on hundreds of undergraduate brothers by volunteering his time, talents, and resources. His dedication to the success of Sigma Phi Epsilon doesn't stop at the local level. Phil is also one of twelve elected brothers who serves on the National Board of Directors. Phil Cox truly embodies our values of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love.
